Rentec & Agruni
The West Flemish Rentec offers solutions for recycling, palm oil extraction, and autoclaves. With experience in waste processing within an African context, the CCO of Rentec connected with the Rwandan waste company Agruni and shared his extensive expertise. Thanks to this collaboration, Rentec was able to expand its reach in Africa. Together with Agruni, they developed customised machines that they initially sold to Agruni and now also to the rest of the African market - a clear win-win.
Hortiplan & Jodoor
The Antwerp-based Hortiplan is an expert in high-tech hydroponics. The company explores new markets and the low-tech market segment. They support the Moroccan Jodoor, a low-tech hydroponic player looking to export to Europe and are supported with technical and business expertise by the General Manager and Sales Manager of Hortiplan. This is an ideal way for Hortiplan to explore the Moroccan market.
AVEVE & Ziweto
AVEVE is fully committed to integrating sustainable partnerships into their DNA. Their director is a coach for the Malawian Ziweto, a producer of animal feed and distributor of medicines for veterinarians. Ziweto, in collaboration with AVEVE, developed 3 efficient nutritional formulas that were tested in Flemish laboratories, 3 Ziweto employees were trained at Arvesta, and an industrial mill was installed.
REO Auction & Tradeline MDC
REO Auction, a leading actor in fruits and vegetables, established a collaboration with the Malawian Tradeline MDC, which sets up cooperatives to give local farmers access to supermarkets, hotels, and schools. To support them, REO deployed their former General Manager as an expert and donated crates to support Tradeline MDC. Additionally, some employees from Tradeline MDC visited Belgium to get inspired at REO Auction.
Comma & Satemwa, Alinafe
The West Flemish marketing and branding agency Comma, brand marketers supports the Malawian tea company Satemwa and the Malawian e-commerce platform Alinafe with marketing expertise. Comma engages its employees by allowing them to work on creative cases for the African companies, which are discussed within the team and then executed during missions to Malawi.
Inex NV & Kombeza, Blessed Dairies
Inex NV is a well-known player in the dairy world and is looking for ways to share their expertise on the path towards a more sustainable company. They established a partnership with dairy companies Kombeza (Malawi) and Blessed Dairies (Rwanda). Their employees visited the production site of Inex NV, and the employees of Inex NV also visited Kombeza. This allowed the companies to get to know each other's craft and share their technical knowledge.
DCM & GuanoMoz
From their headquarters in Grobbendonk, DCM manages the production and distribution of fertilisers. The company established a collaboration with GuanoMoz, a Mozambican company that processes bat guano into potent fertiliser. The director of DCM visited GuanoMoz several times and also arranged company visits with their Flemish and German stakeholders to explore export opportunities together with the CEO of GuanoMoz.
EcoWerf & Agruni
The East Flemish EcoWerf is one of the largest Belgian players in waste collection and processing. Their director was a programme coach at Agruni for a long time, a Rwandan waste company that needed management support to cope with their rapid growth. Not only did the director of EcoWerf carry out several missions in Rwanda, but the management and several technicians from Agruni also flew to Belgium for a work placement at EcoWerf.
