Becoming an expert or coach
Do you have a specific expertise that you would like to use to support African entrepreneurship? A role as an expert or coach for Exchange might be for you.
Volunteer experts and coaches are the lifeblood of our operations. Thanks to them, our growth programmes continue to run, our partner enterprises receive the support they deserve, and we create valuable partnerships between African and Belgian actors.
Programme coach
As a programme coach, you steer a growth programme in the right direction. You commit to the African enterprise for three years and closely work together with our programme managers in Belgium.
Programme coaches do not need to have business expertise or technical knowledge. You guide and determine what expertise is needed at which stage of the growth programme to help the enterprise grow. You have a broad vision and keep all involved parties motivated.
Technical expert
As a technical expert, you have specific expertise in a field that is relevant to one of our growth programmes. You can apply your expertise throughout the entire programme or for a specific phase of the growth trajectory.
Experts provide ad hoc support, on-site or online, and become part of a network of experts who are deployed in the growth programme. Together with the programme coach, you adjust the programme where necessary, based on your practical experience.
